Knock Me Down - Anybody Sipped One Of These Premium Strathislas?

Following on from the 'is mikey on the wagon?' thread, the question being other than the basic 12 year old which I was given more my birthday, have you ever tried one of these premium Strathisla scotches - or of another distillery?

If so, what was it like/were they like.

And look at page 2 - £3000 plus for a bottle!

Japan produces some lovely whisky anyway. One of my favourite pubs in East Anglia ( https://burybeerhouse.co.uk/ ) has got one I've been meaning to try for ages but, at £14 per shot, I've not found any excuse for that level of celebration yet!

I've not tried that one, DTC, but all Penderyn whiskies are good.

I'm told that the stuff from our local distillery is very good too but I've yet to try any of them:
