Recipe for savoury porridge

We like savoury foods for breakfast but are also great porridge fans. Does anybody have a really interesting savoury porridge recipe? (Not Heston's snail porridge please - we'll leave those for the thrushes!!)

World porridge championships on Sunday October 8th in Carrbridge, outside Aviemore.

Taste with buttersscotch liqueur, apple, vanilla vodka and raspberries, honey, nuts, fruits, condensed milk - they get a real mix of ideas, and the day is supported by a fun run, events and attractions, celeb. visits and so on. Go along if you can!!

A couple of suggestions we've had over the last year or so: Crispy bacon & parmesan porridge or how about Sun dried tomoato and basil. Maybe port & cream (not savoury but perhaps worth a bash). Cheers Tony Stone, Stoats Porridge Bars.
