It used to be a courthouse, and an ancient copy of the St James Bible is kept in one of the upper rooms, always open for display at some page or another.
Every morning, when staff arrive for work, either the pages have been turned or the book has been closed altogether. Usual case - all possible explanations have been investigated and ghostwatches are conducted regularly, but no-one seems to be able to explain it, except that during its courthouse days the room was often slept in by a particularly religious judge.

True story:
A widower took a picture of his (newly) deceased wife's grave..........When he had the photo developed, his wife's image was standing by the gravestone!!!! It could not have come from another frame in the development, because there were no other photos taken when his wife was alive !

My sister swears blind that my mums house is haunted. She reckons she keeps seeing this little girl around, apparently she likes to hide things. My sister says that the ghose sits on the bed sometimes at night and that the ghost turns off tvs, lights, toasters etc... not sure I believe in ghosts tho.
when my teacher was a kid her grandma came into her room one night and told her to take care of her father. The next morning she told her parents about the visit but they reacted differently. They said that the day before, her grandmother got hit by a car but they didnt want to tell her yet. They said it was a dream that she must have had. My teacher swears to this day that she actually saw, spoke to, and hugged her grandmother that night, hours after she got hit. Years later, my teachers father got very sick and, taking her grandmothers advice, my teacher worked hard to nurse him back to health.
Think this might be more of the imaginary friend sort of thing, but my 2 year old, announced this week that there is a Ghost in her bedroom (probably got the Ghost thing from her favorite Scooby Doo program, and we live in a new house, so not old enough to be haunted). But the weird end of it is, she says its a little girl AND a little boy, and they move things in her room. But she also says her daddy talks to them (ofcourse he knew nothing about this).
