I would like a list of english / american euphanisms and after a long hunt on google etc etc i still cant find any ! does anyone know where i can find a list or maybe a list can start on this thread... Many thanks

we could start with a list of euphemisms for death and dying - Pushing Up Daisies, Shuffle off this Mortal Coil, Pop Your Clogs, Meet Your Maker, and also some for that other fundamental human activity - Make Whoopee, Have It Away/Off, Slap and Tickle, Nookie, Rumpy Pumpy, there must be loads for both of these subjects. And how about throwing up, calling Huey, talking on the big white telephone, revisiting your breakfast.

or toilet euphemisms, Spend a Penny, Freshen Up, Take a Leak, Go for a number 2, I'll leave it to someone else to add the coarser ones!

I usually call throwing up a "Technicolor yawn".
