Do You Believe Megalomaniac Dictator Kim Jong-Un Can Appeased By Soft Words & Negotiations?

A brutal megalomaniac dictator only understands the stark/blunt reality of being defeated militarily and the resulting consequences for himself (not his 'subjects'/victims/supporters). ‘A leopard cannot change its spots’.
https:/ /www.ho ngkongf p.com/2 017/08/ 11/trum p-warns -north- korea-n ervous- urges-c hina/ reported that Ronald Trump said, "If North Korea does anything in terms of even thinking about an attack on anybody we love or we represent or our allies or us, they can be very, very nervous...and they should be… because things will happen to them like they never thought possible.”
Donald Trump is basically 'reading the riot act' by saying read my lips. US is ready and armed to the hilt military – so don’t take us on. If you do so, it will be to your overwhelming peril, disaster, destruction. I then will take 'no stone unturned' to ensure you, Kim Jong-Un, be taken out ('by hook or by crook') from being leader of North Korea.

The poor *** do not even know there are more than 5 countries in the world. The 2 Koreas , Russia,China and the Great Satan (USA) . There is no internet, very few phones,( with no international connection )and nothing but the State propaganda to look at or listen to. They are forbidden from leaving the country and anyone who even fails to act sufficiently enthusiastic about Kim is punished by haveing 3 generations of their family liquidated. The person themselves all the relatives of their own generation, all their parents and children are executed.
Until a few years ago the only phones were in post offices and you had to book a phone call a week in advance!!

EDDIE51,
Kim Jung-Un likes to show off his people as well dressed & cultured in the 1950s/1960s style.
In fact, from what you say, most of them are living in destitute in slumps, as well as having to be very careful what and where they say.
The life span of such dictator could well come to an abrupt end, like for Nicolae Ceausescu (dictator of Romania between 1974 to 1989) - when the peasant revolted & put him up for trial and then execution on 25 December 1989.

Travel to NK is very difficult and what few visitors are allowed in have to be accompanied by a government guard at all times. They can not decide for themselves where to go.Visitors can not speak to ordinary NK citizens. The people they do meet are all government stooges programmed / forced to say what the government wants them to say.
