Mental Health Services

Saw a mental health nurse at weekend in the cells who promised me that I would get a call the next day from the services, never did! Had to see a nurse today at my GP practice (unrelated incident) who actually rang local mental health services while I was there, was promised a phone call within the hour, never happened. Spent sometime tonight on a local mental health website chat facility, ended up been told that they couldn't do anything for me and get in touch with the very people that wont even get back to me.
I give up!

The frustration must be overwhelming when you are trying to get help.

Are you on any psychiatric medications just now? If so what do you think the mental health team can do for you?

If it were me I would go to see your doctor and they should do something. There has to be reason why they don't phone back, although I can't think of one.

Been there and done them, just want a bit of local support. Charities just keep re referring me to local mental health who wont even give me a phone call. Been here before,

a proportion of MH service users are ***, so i cant imagine it's that :) this website is good for your mental health
