How Can One Purchase Land Sovereignty?
How could one go about purchasing sovereignty over, say, one acre of land from the US government? How much could one expect lt to cost?

you gain land by: accretion, treaty, war, occupation blah blah blah
the difficulty is that you are not a state
and states dont normally cede territory to a person
(honestly I dont know why I am taking this question seriously)
see any international law textbook by either Brierley or Clive Parry

No country in the world is going to surrender sovereignty of part of it's land to a private individual. If that was to happen there would be micro-nations, each with their own laws and political systems, all over the place.
If you want your question to be taken seriously, you'll need to tell us exactly what it is that you're proposing.

I thought lt was pretty obvious. I was wonderring lf I could theoretically start a micronation in a more legal manner. And I'm not sure lf that's entirely true. How many people would really stay committed to running a micronation? Look at Sealand. They're selling lt, so obviously they've lost their dedication. Because many people want a nation, but lt's extremely difficult to get your micronation recognized & therefore not worth lt to most. So I don't think there would ever be micronations left & right. The majority is more or less content with being followers.
If you insist that there is no way to purchase lt, what are some possible locations that I could start one at?
For example, over 12 nautical miles away from each country is international water. What islands are between boundaries?
What land is still unclaimed?
Do countries own underground?
The sky, underwater, places with no resources?
I am considerring this, but I want to do so peacefully, so no secession or conquest.

Buy a piece of Sealand then!
Does Sealand have a trade deal with th EU or other country around the world.
I should imagine, because there seems to be little in the way of natural resources, that they would have to import everything, including water.
Although I also imagine if they have gained legitimacy then they could become an off shore tax haven for some unscrupulous businesses!!

Sealand is an old concrete fort in the North Sea it has no source of water or any other resources.

It is not recognised by any other nation or state. The present occupier sized it from a Pirate radio station that was using it as a transmitter base.

@fiction-factory No, I am not.
@cassa333 It's highly expensive & the U.K. currently considers lt part of their territory.
@EDDIE51 Nothing is impossible. I tried Quora among many other sites & got ignored. Quite a few of the sites have terrible interfaces, in addition to subpar user bases. British people are more polite & might give you the time of day. And you have.
@mikey4444 I already tried many & got ignored. I am surprised that people are finally responding here.
