Physio For Dogs.

The vet has recommended that Tilly has some physio, to help with her mobility problems. Has anyone else had a course of physio treatment for their dog for any reason?

Tilly's initial assessment is on Friday and I will know much more then. In the meantime any experience of this with your dog, please?

not me but my step-sister has been taking her Lab for hydrotherapy for hip arthritis for months. She says it has helped a lot but is very expensive (her insurance pays for it).

Thanks, Prudie. My insurance will pay for both physio and hydrotherapy, I'm relieved to say. I just hope that either or both forms of treatment will help.

She's definitely old and creaky, Wolf, but she seems to have developed a weakness in her back left leg which causes her to be unsteady on her feet.

She is a sweetie, Pasta. Very cuddlesome. A lovely little licky dog.

Mini (my old retriever/collie cross) had acupuncture for joint pain - worked very well for a while.

She tries to bite the twister when I use it. She doesn't like it!

Minty, if I dance, she does. If I do my yoga, she tries to join in. The twister blows her mind and all she can do is attack it. She just doesn't get it.
