We did, just about Captain, but only from the end of the pier and it still seemed very very very far away- it's mad isnt it?

we also got stupidly giddy spotting Blackpool tower and the Big Dipper rollarcoaster in the distance too.

Yup, happened to us once too Talbot, new (to us) car and Mr Boo forgot to change details over to the new one. we were on way to Blackpool for another day out- turned out to be a lot more expensive than what we anticipated :-(
