My email account has been compromised according to this site. Should I change my passwords.. Email, paypal, ebay etc? I dont use online banking.

Certainly no harm in changing all your passwords but I don't think your ebay or paypal will be compromised unless it's specifically listed in teh breaches list- main issue is probably that you get lots of spam

1. Never use the same password for multiple sites - although I do have a (probably compromised) throwaway password for when I just need to register to read something.

2. Change passwords regularly (although this is a pain) - I use a basic stem and then some extra characters which make sense to me (but hopefully no-one else).

3. The site you link to says my main (public if you like) email is 'compromised' - all that means is that someone has scraped it from a website somewhere - which is why it gets piles of spam - but I doubt it's actually been hacked - I'd know if it had been accessed from any computer other than mine, and it hasn't.

No, balders - it's a legit site - I checked carefully before using it.

It's a live site that sites such as Martin Lewis's Money Saving Expert have recommended using to check for breaches, but I am not sure why it would be seen as spam, Baldric

haveibeenpwned was recommended by Computeractive magazine many, many moons ago...I have used it on numerous occasions- all genuine.

Yes change your passwords and make them all different. For ease of memory, use a complex password with a more simple addition for each site.
