We appear to have inadvertantly responded to a pop up screen which has downloaded programs to our system. I have deleted cookies, temp files, etc (think it has something to do with cybertrigger.com). However, it still occasionally redirects us to the website when we launch Internet Explorer and has added two links into the IE tools menu which I can't remove - one says 'erotic' and the other 'IQ test'. There are also four related icons which have appeared in our My Documents folder - these have been deleted many times and every time they reappear almost immediately. I have reinstalled IE6 which has changed nothing and deleted some related files from the registry with little or no effect. This is absolutely driving me insane! Please help if you can.

Google for two pieces of software called AdAware and SpyBot Search and Destroy, once installed and updated these will remove all manner of intrusive software from your PC. This assumes, of course, that you have checked the add & remove programs section of control panel to see that the offending software isn't listed there.
I became similarly infested, including having Home Page grabbed everytime I switched on.Spybot and AdAware will clear it for you, but you may have to run them two or three times at the start. Each time perform delete cookies, temp files etc under Internet Options and Disc Cleaup. After Disc Cleanup open each folder individually and delete anything still lurking. Good luck.
if you go into control panel and then into 'add or remove programs', you will get a list of installed programs on your comptuter and you should see it in there. You can then uninstall it. If you visit the same sites again though, it will simply re-install itself on your computer, so try to work out which sites it is coming from and then avoid them.
I've search the net and found out the following: Look in MyDocuments folder. You should find the following files: WH4_1843001.dll, WH4_1843001.ini if you look in the ini file you will see references to cybertrigger etc. Just delete these files and cybertrigger should nolonger annoy you.
