Yes, I guess its swings and roundabouts as they say.
Even Marks and Spencers have some good food prices now .
Georgiesmum....but can you imagine doing your whole weekly shop at M+S ?
M&S is expensive but nice.
I can't do all my shopping in any one store as none sell everything I want to buy. It's a nuisance but thankfully all the supermarkets are within a 3 mile radius

No. I cant Mickey. Until recently I used to go in Marks and Spencers just to buy a pack of their egg custard tarts., but Ive noticed some of their items they sell are more reasonable in there now.
Their ready meals are nice.
I used to get vouchers for £X off if I spent £50; the last ones were if I spent £70.
I don't get out to be able to shop around as much as I'd like, get a Tesco shop delivered every 10 days or so.

I find their prices, quality and service good - get my vouchers in the post via my Club Card account.

Just checked Ostrich online Ummmm, I may try that next week.

They have Guinea fowl too.

Is that in Tescos jno?
Question Author
Yes, I get the club card points in the post Mamya, I meant small vouchers that you get at the till with your till receipt, off every day things like bread, milk, cheese etc. My friend in Devon says she gets them all the time. We dont here.
I used to pop into my local Tesco superstore, to have a look around, mainly to view the huge tellys.

But since they have done it up, telly are now on a shelf in a corner and the place seems full of women's clothes instead. Ditto with the computers.
Most places are getting expensive. It's called inflation, caused by things like the pound dropping to much lower levels against the euro and dollar since June 23rd 2016, which makes foreign stuff like oranges more expensive to buy.
I shop-on-line with Tesco, and have plenty of time to look for bargains, in their special offers section, and many other items tend to drop in price every other week....
Eg: 8 wraps are usually £1.70p, but drop to £1, Aero mouses mint & choc £1.40p to half price, cereal bars to many to list, chicken breast & sliced bacon packs.

You can also save money by having your delivery's on a Tue, Wed & Thurs, for only £3.00 a month, and can have Tesco Direct items, added to your grocery orders with no extra delivery charges.

I find the Co-op expensive compared, and the service isn't that good.
I forgot to add that I exchanged my vouchers last year for a theme park, for my daughter & her son, she saved £85.00.
I work for tesco nice to read good comments about tesco! The staff do try Thier hardest to help and be friendly to customers thanks carry on shopping !!!
i agree with the "most supermarkets are getting expensive" comments. I only shop for me and the cat and i've noticed the weekly shop has gone up quite a bit, my wages haven't though :-(
