Just got back from the asylum
Thanks to all who have replied to smows thread, tried to reply last night but wifi was iffy.
Mental health care is abysmal but despite that I'm glad to be back home and actually feel a bit better and more positive now even though ive got a few issues to deal with.
Actually got more support from the other inmates....sorry I meant patients, lol. Funny how people from all walks of life can bond through been in an institution together.
But many many thanks to all on here who have never judged me but rather offered support and well wishes. I appreciate it more than you know.

Thank you pix and marvel :-)
Hey, good to have you back Nailit.
nailit - // One of my sisters spent some time in there 20 odd years ago on the Menzies ward //

That's where I was, when I was there.

It was one of two separate wards housed away from the main building with self-contained canteen, dormitories, and day room, with some elements of freedom.

Where you didn't want to end up was Ward 2 in the main building, that was the 'secure unit', and talked about darkly by patients.
Welcome back to the true Funny farm ;-)
Hope that things do start on the up for you, all the best and good luck.
Good to see you back Nailit & glad you're feeling a touch better in yourself, if not with everyone else :-)
glad to see you back, nailit, even if it doesn't sound as if you exactly got world-class care there.
Best wishes, Nailit.
