Just watching the above as usual,

It never ceases to amaze how many people don't know which way up The Union Flag goes.

:o)
I didn't realise this was on tonight. One of my favourite programmes. Also strictlywas on but I managed to give my daughter instructions on how to set the humax box for that so hopefully I can watch it tomorrow when we get home.
GG the shades of blue on the Saltire and the Union Flag are different shades. The blue on the Saltire is meant to be Pantone 300 while the blue on the Union Flag is darker with the shade being Pantone 280.
What the name of a flag expert .? :-)

Gosh it must be so boring living at Herne Bay.
Damn, I missed it! I love LNOTP. It signifies the beginning of the end of our work season. OH was watching Strictly instead. Yawn!
Try telling a US citizen it does not matter if someone holds the 'Stars and Stripes' upside down!
Sorry, back to the OP, I'm not sure I know which way up the flag is meant to go.

I'm amused by people calling it the English flag or the Welsh flag.

The wider stripe is to the top .
I've often heard it called the English flag but can't say I've ever heard it called the Welsh flag.
Sorry meant to say the wider strip is to the top on the flagpole side.
Eddie, //Try telling a US citizen it does not matter if someone holds the 'Stars and Stripes' upside down! //

That's a bit easier to spot.
The Proms - I`d rather watch paint dry!
