If you were given £500.00 to donate to one of the above, which one would you choose?

I have mixed feelings, as millions are given every year to poor Country's, like India etc, so where is that being spent, but they seem to be in more need than the Caribbean/Florida residents?

I think some of the aid and charity funds that go to Asia will be used to help with the floods there

I think a country like the US should fund the current issues in Florida

So i would probaly give some to India/Nepal and/Bangladesh and the rest to the worst affected Caribbean areas.

Most tourists who visit the Carribean and Florida are oblivious to the levels of poverty that exist there.

My money would go to the Caribbean, having been there many times and experienced the warmth and friendliness of the people there.

I agree with your second answer, FF, but I think that a donation from the UK would be more symbolic than anything else. In other words, it would say, "We're thinking of you over there."

I think we should help/ and be seen to help Florida but i think it shuld be offering support such as helicopters, equipment, police/military presence rather than giving money

I'd go for the Caribbean-a lot of poverty there and I don't think they get anything like the aid that goes elsewhere.
