Rejected Review.

I recently bought slippers from Debenhams which I love. When they asked for a review I was very honest, saying I loved them but they lived up to their name, they are deadly on wooden floors. I also said think twice before buying them for elderly or infirm people. So instead of looking at their product to see why it is so slippery, they rejected my review. I rely on reviews as they help me make purchasing decisions. I will now totally ignore all Debenhams reviews if they wont print the truth.

That is bad, they should print all reviews. The reviews are what help people decide to buy or not.

What's the point of having a review section if you only show the favourable ones. Crazy. I buy a lot of stuff on line from Amazon based on the review page. If you can be bothered Sam, I'd write to them and let them know how unhelpful it is.

I must review 4 or 5 products a month and it's the first rejection I've had. I am always scrupulously honest as I don't want people to have to read between the lines. Postscript. Just been on Debs website and the slippers are no longer on sale. Maybe they withdrew them, I hope so.

Their computer system probably automatically rejects reviews if a product is no longer on sale. After all, if the product doesn't appear on their website, they can't publish a review alongside it.

Maybe I misled you, the product was still available when I reviewed it. Debenhams requested the review, this was about a month ago. I looked online as I was receiving responses to my post and noticed that they are no longer available.

Hi Buenchico, just seen your post, dreaded hospital appt. I have read the T&C's you linked, no mention of slagging off slippery slippers. I did meet all the review criteria, they were obviously just being sensitive.
