All answers have something to do with Homes. As I'm going on holiday I would appreciate help with the following three clues. No.28 In London it could be known as a French plait (4). No.59 It opened its doors 27.12.1904 (7,5,7) the answer I've found doesn't fit the number of letters given. No.78 Mr Slade (3,6) The answer Gai Barone keeps appearing but doesn't fit the theme. Thanks to anyone who can help

Thanks ubasses, that's the answer I found but it doesn't fit the number of letters given (7,5,7)
Might be Dublin's Abbey Theatre
78 the lodger ( jack parlance as mr slide)
(Jack parlance as mr slide)
Oh it won't let me put it in right but I think you know what I mean

Thanks for your help cashier and smurf, they're both great answers!
28. Flat (Cockney Rhyming Slang)
Gai Barone is an Italian musician. He has album called Mr. Slade.
I think it's the lack of a link with Gai Barone and 'at home' that is making that answer unpopular.
Margalan

May54 is questioning where is the 'home' connection in Gai Barone? All answers are to do with types of 'homes'

(Now, if he was called Gai Barone-al Hall....... )
I'm not sure how Gai Barone fits the homes theme though- unless the Slade in the clue is the home (Slade prison)
Just seen the earlier The Lodger answer. Was it Mr Slade or Slide?
Yes, was Mr Slade in The Lodger so that will be right.
I am sure this question has come up before quite a few years ago- I got that deja vu feeling when i looked at The Lodger on Wikipedia
ff I was thinking Prison(Slade) It was a Mr - male prison.

Thanks wiggers99 - another great answer! I was pronouncing plait as plate, and not as platt, which didn't give me any help in solving the clue. Thanks, too, to everyone else who contributed with ideas and comments.
