Pay Cut Again This Year !

I have just had notification that I am due a pay "rise" of 1% this year....another pay cut it seems !

That was common when I used to work for a living. Want a pay rise, change jobs. You have to run like mad in order to stay still.

I'd guess it's so it can be blamed on the Tories but I've only had round 1% for years including during the last Labour Govt.

I only posted this as an example of what is happening to millions of people in Britain. I am not overly bothered, and the usual sarcasm, from the usual suspects, is like water off a ducks back !

I would be quite happy with a 1% increase in my income, I believe the State Pension went up a while back, haven't noticed tbh, and we haven't increased our rental rates for a couple of years, Happy Tenants, well happy Landlords.
