Tonights Sky

Has the sky gone a very funny yellow colour over you? I'm in Manchester and it's like looking out to a sci-fi sky!

I'm in Rossendale which is about 10/15 mins down motorway from you. The sky looks very surreal- storm coming you think?

Gawd yeah jiggy- we were just coming out of Tesco's, we got ruddy drenched! See the hailstones too? Big as golfballs they were.

as much as i love the sun during the day, I really could do with it being cooler through the night, i'm not sleeping much and im getting seriously cranky because of it!

Yep, always get a "STORM" headache, not like any other....wierd I know.....

I think it's to do with the pressure a storm creates, pain killers just don't touch it at all!

I was lucky to be in when the heavens opened B00, I saw the hail, it was awful!

Hello everyone...with talking about the weather I was wondering what it was like on Sunday in Manchester ? I saw on TV that the plane carrying the England team home was diverted to Liverpool, was the weather really that bad there ? I'm about 40 miles away and it was lovely here all day - too hot though.

Hello Dummkopf (though i doubt you are one!)

On the Sunday it was extremely humid and then suddenly out of nowhere it all went black, like we were expecting a visit from Satan himself! I live in a tower block and it was 2 storms that met, i watched as one bombarded us and then the next jumped in to finish us off! If you like violent weather as i do, it was great! Both storms were across the runways at the airport so i doubt anything landed for about an hour.

And as for last night, how disappointing! a bit of drizzle for about 10mins and a feeble clap of thunder, i hope it starts properly today!
