I use safari both on my ipad and laptop with no problems....sorry, I know that doesn't help but it does suggest that neither AB nor Safari is the problem?
I would clear that saved bookmark from your list, but first do a new sign in to the Answerbank. Then add, the new signed in bookmark to your Homepage. You add it to your homepage by tapping the share button in the top bar(a little square with an arrow pointing up) and selecting "Add to Home Screen" this may sort it for you Chrissa. I think I would also be clearing the cache on the Safari browser too.
