Reports us Eccles!!
Sorry for the diversion Kloofnek
Shows how much I know. 40 is wider than 42 ? How counter intuitive. So 792 is going to be smaller than 3.
Maybe it only takes half a day to train for the perkier end of the market and the rest is 'on the job'. What do I know? :-)
Pardon me butting in but I like m&s foundation garments, I have an entire drawer of very nicely fitting Ines. However their shoes don't fit me no matter how hard I try.
Ya pays yer money and takes ya chance, one size doesn't fit all.
I'm going to try Woofgang's link but I fear I may pull a muscle laughing, as I try to measure a fulsome bosom bent forward at 90 degrees.

My goodness...did not expect so many replies.Thank you need and all..very helpful, have a nice evening
Have issue with quality I just think their measuring assistants are the square root of useless.
No, you are right, og. Just a mistake in the OP. The numbers are inches.
I've never been measured but always take a million bras into the changing rooms and spend ages trying them all on in various sizes and styles. I don't like underwired ones, or ones with seams, the m&s ones I buy are perfect for me.
However, even though I like the style I buy, I would never buy without trying them on first, even the same size can vary.
I like M and S bras but not their fitting service. When I need new ones I buy loads from their website at once. I buy anything that looks like it might fit pretty much regardless of colour or design and then I have a massive try on at home. All the ones that past the fit and comfort test are then tried under a variety of shapes of top. You just can't do that in a shop.
I have a massive rib cage and no boobs.. I've never, ever found a bra to fit me. The only time I wore them was after I had the kids. Hated them. Good luck with your search kloofnek x
I was surprised last time I asked to be measured in
M & S. She didn't measure me saying they are not allowed to any more. When I asked how she was going to decide what I needed she replied it was all down to her eye! She came back with a bra from every size under the sun and expected me to sort out my own size.
I didn't bother!

I agree with you Wolfgang,I hate trying things on in the shop too. When did buyinh

Sorry....sent by accident..."buying bras get so difficult..one time a size was just that size...now..it changes with the make!!! I never buy cheap ones as they are skimpt in size.Anyway thank all of you for your posts
I also agree that whilst I like M &S bra's , their fitting service is awful! They basically look at you and guess - well I could do that!
My experience is that sizing (and shape) has always varied from brand to brand and from style to style in clothing. Its most noticeable in bras because there is the least margin for error in bras..its further complicated by the fact that busts are not only different sizes but different shapes and there is also a degree of choice in the shape that one might choose to be and this can also change depending on what you choose to wear...oh and as we all (well those of us who wear bras know) size and shape can vary from month to month and also changes as we get older.......you'd cry if you didn't laugh.....
The changing in size is probably one of the most annoying 1st world problems...
oh no ummm....the struggle to open packs of smoked salmon and separate the slices from the interleaving plastic is infinitely more distressing :)
I managed the ninety degrees but got in trouble with the lying flat bit - bosom went where I couldn't reach.

Mamy...I am just picturing you doing it...made me smile
