Why Is The 'home' Channel On Freeview Tv Playing Non Stop Death In Paradise Programmes This Weekend Instead Of Its Usual Home Tv Programmes?

It usually plays varied programmes which are 'Home' related - hence the name!!

At the same time they've got episodes of Hetty Wainthropp which they've paid for unlimited showings of, so they're just 'balancing the books' within their schedules.
Alternatively they might have very few advertisers who're prepared to pay for weekend slots on the Home channel, so they can't afford to show programmes which cost a lot in broadcasting rights. (UKTV is meant to make for the the BBC, which co-owns it, not to lose it!)
