Aldi wine

Any recommendations on Aldi wine? I hear they have some fantastic stuff. Lidl wine is dreadful.

They both source from the same suppliers so I wouldn't be suprised to discover if it's all the same products with different labels on.

Some of their everyday wine is OK but where they excel is on the special offers. I bought many cases of the Chablis last year which was 6 for 5 at less than �25. Amazing value and yummy wine. The Cremant de Jura is a sparkling chardonnay also slides down very easily on a hot day outside under the parasol. The specials come into store on a Thursday and sometimes you have to be quick. They are definitely worth a try and this recommendation comes from someone who buys good wine mail order and even straight from the vineyard.
