Every victim of an unreported sexism assault has their own reasons for their silence. The predators know this and use this knowledge to continue their abhorrent behaviour. It matters not what a victim's reasons are and no blame can attach thereto. The blame lies soundly with the perpetrator and with a society that often judges the victims.

I know what you mean here. The Weinstein story isn't about the casting couch. It's about a man who has used his position to prey on young women.
Some people have twisted that to talk about other women who may have got a leg up on their career by accepting these advances.
These are two wholly separate groups.
People need to stop conflating them.
What some people are doing is saying, "Well, that women may have been sexually assaulted, but there are others who go around crying rape."
One has nothing to do with the other.

I quote from a new book out called, 'Warner Bros: The Making of an American Movie Studio', (there were four brothers, the youngest being Jack).
"Harry, the eldest ..... never forgave the baby of the family (Jack) for having gone native - for getting married more than once, and for the afternoon ritual on the office sofa with the latest chorus-line hopeful".

Well-deserved BA for Barmaid. You might further add that, even if some women have historically been willing to compromise themselves to further their careers, maybe that's because they've come from a society or entered a culture which thinks that somehow this is acceptable, normal, or reasonable. Again, predatory men can exploit this idea.
