Sat on sofa, got up and walked a couple of steps, felt foot wet, turned round and saw dark thing near sofa. It was a small slug and I had stood on it!!
I don't know how they get in the house but it's not the first time.

I went into the garden one early morning recently and stepped on a snail - and I had bare feet!!

Funny that. I've just spoken to a small slug and he said he was minding his own business when, suddenly, some woman's sweaty foot was on his head. He wasn't best pleased, i can tell you:-/
