am sure we've all had the usual charity bags/takeaway leaflets through, but just had an interesting one.

blooming heck, how much did it cost this particular church to get them printed? Surely that money would have been better spent in other ways?

The big containers for paper have slots with heavy metal flaps which are difficult to stuff things through. On this container, one of the slots had been jammed open with a bible, ( not a Gideon) which looked quite new and unread. I now imagine that a determined atheist had received just such an item of scripture from just such an optimistic church as your local one.
