Ford Fiesta tyre trouble.

Does anyone know the correct tyre pressure for a 1990 ford fiesta 1.1 litre car. I do not, but am pretty sure cornering should be as bad as to neccesitate almost stopping. Also, what is the best way to remove an oil filter that is welded on with age, grime, and neglect.?

Probably PSI should be -
Normal : Front 30 Rear 26
Loaded : Front 36 Rear 40

If you have tried the belt type grip which fits in a sockets set and you still can't turn it then as a last resort you can always try hammering a big screwdriver straight through it and then turning it by using the screwdriver as a lever.

Pressures sound about rigth from memory - check the inside rim of the drivers door/frame - there is usually a sticker there telling you.
I've always found the chain type oil filter removers to work - sometimes after a bit of a struggle, even after a long time on the engine. Although the screwdriver might be a good last resort. Can't remember where the Oil filter is and how much room you get around it on a Fiesta.

The rear mirror fell off and broke yesterday. so hopefully any 7 years of bad luck begin after the oil filter change. I am sure future queries will be forth coming. once again thanks.
