Had my 6 monthly check at Colposcopy clinic and even though I have low grade CIN cells they are discharging me and I’ll still be closely monitored by my gp.

I am sad as my Gynae is a lovely woman and she says she will miss me as I have ‘good chat and cool shoes’

But least I just have to go up for one clinic now :)

I remember that feeling only too well.

It’s an amazing feeling Alba. I didn’t know whether to laugh or cry when I left. I just hope they behave down there so to quote my Gynae ‘you can rent out this womb’. She was brilliant with her wit.

JJ, for a colposcopy, they knock you out, then it's the 3 monthly smear tests afterwards for 12 months.

Well it was for me, maybe Queenie had a different experience.

It wasn’t sore.

The biopsy they took was but if I needed further treatment I’d have been given a local and dealt with.

A smear just feels funny...I always laugh as I find it tickles.

Dave I agree those are the 3 words I long to hear and keep hearing, was devastated last time as they didn’t know.

Its been a crappy week but today has turned it around nicely. I finish up at work tomorrow for a week too :)
