OK, so Deutsche Bank revenues are down by a hefty amount and they don't know how long they will take to recover.
Nothing in the article (apart from the headline) that indicates it's a problem for Angela Merkel. So presumably this is just another excuse to air negative opinions about the EU and the Euro again.

Carnage- bit of hyperbole there. It's a 10% fall in DB's revenue. The German stock exchange rose today. DB shares barely moved. I think some people are looking for stories where nothing particularly significant is happening and then claiming the lack of shock headlines is further evidence that the MSM is burying bad news as part of an anti Trump, anti Brexit, anti British, liberal elite conspiracy.
Been reading about this today. It does explain a few things. European nations want to look after themselves - we are in order in wanting to look-after our country, you are not our responsibility. Sorry, we'll pay our bills up to leaving (few as far as I can work out) will balance anything you claim against our already given contributions to projects etc., pay any difference and that is it. They have woken-up to how much laxity they have allowed in heir accounting. That is their problem and they must get properly audited accounts.
It's not good News in Euroland and that spells bad News for us too.
Whether or not we have any 'deal' with the EU we really dont want the EU collapsing, breaking up slowly maybe, but a collapse will knock us and others outside the EU hard.
The big problem as I see it is that Euromaniacs have their heads jammed so far up their backsides they cannot see, or want to admit, what is happening. Very bad, how do you fix something you are taking the ostrich approach to?
