Just an aside for maggiebee - our daughter was born on 7th Dec and when Mr BD went round to tell his mum and dad they had a new granddaughter the first words out his dad's mouth were "You'll have to call her Pearl" When asked why he told him it was the anniversary of Pearl Harbour! Needless to say we didn't. He sulked.

no no no no wee Pet - thank you all the same - my mother and father and all siblings loathe them too - well there's not too many of us left - only 2 sistas. LOL

How can one celebrate getting older and one step into the grave - I'm just like oul Victor Meldrew.

Well got the new memory foam bed today after waiting for 4 weeks. Have just made the bed up - pinky winky - (it is double) and it looks very small after the gigantic king size - but you know it'll do me as that old bed was too big to handle ie bed clothes, duvets, moving the bed to clean under it so hopefully this will do the trick until the grim reaper comes along anyhoo. LOL
