Adverts On Galaxy S8.

I have recently started getting full screen adverts for Google Play games. They interfere with video calling and browsing. Though they also come up on start up. Any ideas how to stop them. I've tried Google and phone preferences.

i checked through my apps and i can't find anything that you could have turned on to cause this, so i've googled and it seems a few people are having this and that it might be some kind of malware

various advice here - i would start with uninstalling google play games and see if that does anything

Thank you Mccfluff. I followed the link and completed a a full reset as suggested. So far so good.
