Clocks Go Back An Hour Tonight !

My favourite time of year has come again....not !

Put the clocks back then put them forward again as and when, it's only 1 hour, like 60 minutes, why all the fuss?

I like winter provided its cold and dry....so fed up with this mild wet nastiness. don't care about clocks, I am retired and live to suit myself

me too. When I was younger I spent a lot of time at sea with my dh.....they flogged (changed) the clocks to keep in step with where in the world we were so UK to Dubai, 3 hours over 6 weeks and then 3 hours on the way back It was done in 30 minute chunks.

My husband used to take it upon himself to alter all the clocks (this before the electronic age) in the evening before the time change. I used to change them all back, it didn't half confuse him in the morning!

We wouldn't appreciate out glorious summer evenings if we didn't have our dark winter ones. :-)

I used to have a cheese and wine night every year when the clocks went back - but unfortunately we can't this year.

I like this particular change. Dark at 4.30 is little odds from dark at 5.30 and it's done in many countries. I remember when it was stopped and it was awful, especially for those in the North.
