I’m off to bar skip and then off to a Halloween rave, we’re dressed as brats zombie dolls.

What are you doing and if anyone says “hiding under the couch in the darkness from trick or treaters” I’m just going to scream, lol.

Have a good one folks and HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

I'm watching Strictly Halloween.
Just watching Strictly, will eat soon.
My youngest was obsessed with Halloween so I would decorate the house, porch etc and have lit up pumpkins outside etc. We get trick or treaters all eve on Halloween. This year son isn’t here and even tho most people seem to be out this eve I won’t do anything till the actual day. The kids round here just know they’ll always get treats here so I can’t not do it , and they’re all so polite.
I was born in the late 60's in North London and can honest say that there was no Halloween until the late 70's early 80's, even then it was on a very small scale. However, I do remember Penny for the Guy, we used to earn bundles sitting at Turnpike Lane station.
scream then, I'm going for a nice scotch, any screaming heeby-jeebies here coming from the graveyard next door - I lit them a leaf fire earlier to keep their ghoulies warm.
jno, trick or treating is Scottish?

well, I never, it's guising

TorT is what the yanks do. and the do it poorly imo
As I understand it, Halloween is the invention of them pesky Irish to have something to raise their peat-ale to, as an excuse to drink four more.
Really, DT??
Yeah, pesky Irish....
yep, gness, your ancestors are to blame, how many generations ago, that is questionable...

Behave now, Shoota......or you'll get a trick instead of a treat this year!....x
I'm visiting the 'rents and I'm cooking a lamb dinner for them and my nan tomorrow.
baaananaas for dessert then, NoM?
Treat?

Can't remember (and I'm sure I would) ever having received a treat, Halloween or otherwise.....

Pesky Irish!
But if you wish to turn a trick.....
Now I knew you would say that, Shoota.....and you're supposed to catch me out with your wit...... :-)
Not quite, DT. I baked a raspberry bakewell cake so we'll just have some of that for afters.
good on you, bananas and I do not see eye to eye, and Treliske Hossie I am not heading towards.
Trick or treating is Scottish? My erkie!
I do not "do" Halloween. It's glorified begging. I put notices on the door saying no trick or treat here.
I know you will think I'm a meanie. It's just another bit of American we do not need.
