Good Morning Early Birds!

Thursday. All is calm outside. I hope it lasts.

I had the best night's sleep in years, six hours, all in one go. I hope it just the beginning.

Put the barbie away in the shed, along with the tables and chairs, ready for the wee men with the digger when they arrive, but that is not until next week...I think. The sooner the better. Plenty of bikkies in to go with the teas. How long it will take them I have no idea.

Well I have been up all night nursing my Cocker bytch who went into labour yesterday evening. I knew the litter was going to be a small one because she wasn't very big but number two was huge and got stuck. Before I spotted there was a problem the mum had cut the chord with the head still inside and so it got no oxygen. Tried my best to get it going with no luck. Number three had to be revived too but that was successful thankfully. Mum and two pups are now sleeping peacefully but I'm still on watch...

A bit late on parade today....another sleepless night, until about 05:00 that is.

Ta Minty, they both look beautiful and are feeding well so all should be OK. Just need to keep them warm and safe.

Not this time Mint, I have three already and a list of five people who want one including son 2. I will have a litter out of my young girl next year and possibly keep one from that.
