Car Insurance. Action To Take.
My granddaughter was involved in an accident in her work places car park. After reversing out of a bay, another employee, a girl, reversed into the rear of my granddaughters car. Initially the other girl said it was my granddaughters fault. I advised my GD to ask if the company had cctv. When my GD went to see the boss the next day, the other girl was already in the bosses office, and the boss already knew of the incident. When confronted in front of the boss, the girl broke down and admitted it was her fault. My GDs insurance has contacted my GD after several weeks, telling her the other girl is not responding to the calls from her insurance. What course of action can I tell her to take. TIA

The downside is that if the TP defends the matter your GD will face the task of proving in the civil court that the accident was the fault of the TP. The downside to this is that if the court finds against her she will be liable to pay the costs of repairs to her car, possibly also for repairs to the TP's car as well and the court costs. Best let the insurers sort it.
