Intestate Inheritance
My uncle died without a will so as his next surviving kin, my father inherits his estate. However, before probate had completed, my father sadly died. Can anyone tell me what now happens to my uncle's estate? Will it continue to pass to my dad if probate was almost complete even if the money wasn't actually given to him? Or will the process begin over again with the next in line beneficiary? Thanks in advance for answers

However, as TTT has indicated, your father's estate now includes what was due to him from your uncle's estate. (It's treated as a 'debt', in the same way that had your father died after completing some work for another person, but without having received payment for it, the outstanding money would then become due to his estate).
