Our U3A have a new group called Oddballs. It discusses anything "Odd"
Like UFO's, poltergeists, reincarnation, transgression and today's topic was the pyramids. It was fascinating. Built 20000 - 30000 years ago.
Majority of the blocks weighing 2.5 tons and some up to 20 tons. One theory is they transported them by boat and rowed them down the river to the site.
But how do they get them in the boat and why does it not sink.
Did you know there is a pyramid on Mars. That also gives rise to the theory the pyramids were built by aliens.

Oddballs!

There was a young man from Devizes
Whose balls were of different sizes
One was so small
It was no use at all
But the other was huge and won prizes.

There is a film on YouTube called Secrets of the Pyramids that suggests one method was levitation!

There was a programme on tv a couple of years ago which showed possible ways in which the pyramids could have been built. It was very interesting.

I didn't know about the pyramid on Mars. Is that true, and how do we know?
