It was being asked before the sellers had hit the streets of Peterborough, probably one of those set to close with falling sales.

Shame, it's an ideal quiz to do with family,friends or even by yourself over Christmas.

Still if others are happy to give their answers nothing to be said or done.

Ed has stated in the past that this a question and answer site and if questions are asked then answers should be given. Personally I take the view that if the poster requests clues then I would not supply an answer.I do think that it is the responsibility of the person doing the quiz to abide by its rules.

As I said, there's nothing to be done as no rules have been infringed - I'm pragmatic about it to a point.

As I said a few days ago , we all approach our pastimes in our own way - I love my quizzes and thoroughly enjoy doing them too.

Very rarely I'll give one if a few asked or if the date is very close - happy to give clues but those usually fail because an answer follows.

I don't have a check list or a set of guidelines, I'm really not that way minded.
