Theatre trip to see The Illegal Eagles........they were fantastic....

I've never wanted to see a cover/tribute band but gave this a go and am so glad I did.....

They had us on our feet......six hundred pensioners waving and bopping........albeit bopping rather slowly......
Not so much....Life in the Fast Lane but......Life in the Middle Lane with the odd meander into the Slow Lane.......

I would have put the torch on my phone to wave for the finale, as requested.....if I knew how to work the torch on my phone.... :-(

because of mobility issues i haven't been to a concert for ages, i do miss it.

Difficult isn't it....I have a friend who can walk only a little with great difficulty.....
He loves the theatre and I've taken him when I can but it was hard work...
It's a little easier now he will use a wheelchair....he doesn't like it but it's the only way.....x

living in a flat 2 stories up negates a wheelchair, there would be no where to put it. besides its not quite that bad yet, fingers xxxx

I can see that, Emmie......when MrG had to use a wheelchair it presented its own difficulties.....went to a reception once which meant pushing him across a large area of gravel.....I needed to sit on his lap by the time I'd done it.....x

It is, Patsy......and they had a wonderful stage set, sound system and lighting......and a dishy new member...... :-)

Some places/building designers don't always think of access for those who use aids.

Emmie, I pop onto youtube every so often and watch a concert, not as good as being there but it's nice.

am not too sure about whole concerts to be honest, Emmie, but there must be some on there, I think there was a Mr Rieu concert, for example.
(which is great if you like classical stuff, I'm eclectic, don't mind classical/pop/rock etc)
