Hi! I was just wondering this probably soundz like a very daft question but can some 1 please tell me if Japan (Kobe earthquake area) is an MEDC and Montserrat volcano is an LEDC?! this would be a great help! thanx!! :-) oh MEDC is more economically developed country and LEDC is less economically developed country

yes japan is definitely an medc. Montserrat could be considered an LEDC as many of the occupants were quite poor even before they were covered with volcanic ash. It was somnething of a tax haven though, so some richer inhabitants may have lifted its status
