Making Personalised Place Cards

I would like to print off placecards this evening from my computer.
I'd like to personalise the border and type the names onto each one.
I have seen the templates in Word but can't see how I can change the borders to suit the 80th birthday theme that I would want to add.
Can anyone let me know how to do it easily please?

I'm not sure that you can change the borders.

My own preference would be to forget using Microsoft Word (or any other word processing program) and to use a proper desktop publishing program. (See my post here if you need one: https://www.theanswerbank.co.uk/Technology/Question1580041.html )
