Why The Huge Manhunt For Two Men Hving Fisticuffs?

So no terrorism, no pagga, no shots fired just two people having what appears to be a brief altercation. This happens all the time, why is it being attributed to a stampede? Something really doesnt sound right.

And why the huge effort, I thought they were short of Police so much so they dont have manpower to investigate real crimes like burglary?

Maybe they should be investigating this Oily chap who seems to have spread fake news and fear by that well know tool of the devil TwitFace?

They can be charged with 'making people look like hysterical sheep and later, somewhat embarrassed, in a public place'.

thwey've just had a communications wallah on the news saying somehting along the lines of what I was suggesting. Social media spread stuff quickly, and the best way to calm things is to tell the truth asap. People in the tube station just got a pre-recorded announcement telling everyone to leave the platforms; a better approach would have been a specific announcement saying "there's been a fight on platform X, we ask passengers to move to Y while it's sorted out." As it was, rumours flew around and were duly tweeted and retweeted and half the street had to be shut down.

It seems the two men have handed themselves in. But other things that need to be investigated (not with an eye to blaming or proscecuting) is where the claims of gunshots came from), where the problem was supposed to be, and so on. A lot of time and effort was wasted, but it ought to be a useful learning exercise about not turning a drama into a crisis.

I am afraid ISIS has won when:
1. People run terrified from a standard disagreement.
2. It gets onto Social Media and immediately escalates.
3.There are no terrorists involved, only petty yobs.
4. Everybody is terrorised even though nothing has happened.
