Yes, I remember that one Emmie.....but we need another Dickens adaption now. They always seem to sell very well abroad, so it would seem to pay the Beeb to do some more !
trouble is i watch David Leans adaptations of Oliver Twist and Great Expectations and can't fault them. So any adaptation from now might not fare so well. I wonder which book they could adapt to make it a winner for sunday night
I noticed too late that one of the cable channels is repeating Dickensian, not everyone's cup of tea but I liked it.

Emmie....A Christmas Carol would go down very nicely now !
They have made a new film i believe with Dan Stevens late of Downton Abbey, see if i can find a link. It will be released this Christmas i think..
