Driving past our local Morrisons petrol station today I noticed a large poster announcing Costa coffee was available in the kiosk, also mentioning the same beans as in Costa stores.

My question is, what is the point of a barista if a machine can take the same ingredients and dish up a drink up with your daily paper and de-icer?

It can't do this Douglas! ...
I always thought a barista was an Italian lawyer. Seems a bit precious to describe someone who pulls a few levers on a machine and gives you a cup of coffee.
Try hanging that on the wall
Pointless. I don't want my coffee tarted up with silly patterns which will be down my neck in ten seconds, no doubt paying extra for the privilege.
May be it's a ladies thing Jack ;0) I bought some coffee stencils after getting a coffee machine & had a dabble.

I'm in complete agreement with Jackdaw, McDonalds, 99p and a free one every six cups. :-)

Is a dabble one of those Japanese coffees then? :-)
Fancy coffees are a nice 'treat' I'm just a 99p coffee girl too.
Ha ha Douglas!
