How Do I Advertise My Stories Further?
2 Answers
Hi, all. I've been writing short stories for decades now ( have a novel in a file somewhere) and have had a couple published in small press - won a prize for one, £25!!!
Anyway, my lovely son-in-law has entered the equation. I challenged his daughter to a short-story write (not competition) and we all had a lovely pub lunch a month ago during which we each read our tales. She, bless her, has received rave reviews from her English teacher and S-I-L offered to help me get mine on line as he thought it was so good. (Another lunch and story due at Xmas.)
So, now I have 3 short stories available too buy on amazon (earned £2.30 so far!). I'm no good at computers. Any ideas how I can advertise them other than by word of mouth and emailing people I know?
Cheers.

Thanks very much, Khandro - I thought that this had disappeared into the ether. Much appreciated.
My son-in-law is a pillar of strength and put on a 4th (Xmas story) for me today. He is now suggesting paperback publishing and I am going to delve into dusty boxes to unearth the ones before computers. The snag could be a good photo of me :(
I've tapped away with writing groups and on my own for years, with small-print excitement and a couple of prize stories, it is energising to have technology on my side and to actually earn money (up to nearly £10 now!).
