Turn it off before we go to bed, turn it on again when we wake up in the morning....dont think its a good idea to leave a mobile on near your bedside close to your head all night, as could interfere with your sleep, plus the risk factors also.....if any family or friends need to contact us urgently through the night, they all have our Landline telephone number.
ummmm no i would not either it advises you not too,

//But the consumer expert also says charging your phone overnight could do long-term damage to its battery.
According to PC Advisor, you should never charge the battery all the way to 100 per cent.
This is because constantly doing a full recharge will shorten the battery's lifespan.//
Is that correct ?
I was under the impression that with modern batteries , it did not matter .

Mine stays downstairs. We have a landline 'phone in the bedroom for emergencies. If you use your mobile 'phone as an alarm clock, you don't need to have it switched on for it to wake you.
I get intensely annoyed at people who leave the things on in theatres and the like. Personally, I think they should be told to leave if their 'phone rings. It's the same for those who go to concerts and stand there with their phones in the air taking photographs and videos. It's also against copyright. When my elder daughter's school did a production at the local theatre, several parents were reprimanded for trying to take photographs or videos. One insisted on continuing, so and was ejected from the theatre. Some people need to have the things surgically removed.
