Christmas Tree Going Up This Weekend!

Having already put up the office tree (much to the bah-humbug of my colleagues), this weekend I'll be getting a REAL tree and putting it up in the front room!!

First weekend of December is the first weekend of Christmas! Who's with me?!

nope, don't do decs or other, there's only me and i really don;t have the inclination. good for families though.

Ours will go up in around Dec 16. Put it up too early and by Christmas it's just become part of the furnuiture - or shed its needles if it's a real one.
It's the first week of Advent I think ... :-)

I'm not having a tree indoors. As a nod to Christmas I might put some lights on one of the Christmas trees in the garden - that's if I can be bothered.

I WILL do a floral dec of holly, ivy, roses and christmassy things over the mantelpiece. Well I would but inexplicably I cant find the holly tree that I noticed when I moved in and neither of us can remember where it was!!!!!

I have just put my tree up as well, and few decorations.

I bought one of those LED Fibre Xmas trees a few years ago, so I just lift it upstairs to the spare room in January, and then bring it back down every December....no need to decorate anew every time !

mikey, thats sounds similar to the one I have takes about five minutes just to neaten it up a bit. I live alone so not too fussed and I'm also always away over Christmas for a few days.

We're having ten for Christmas dinner but the officer in charge insists we're having the seven foot tree as usual.

I used to put loads of deccies up and some beautiful ones at that. I will put up a fibre optic up and just found a beautiful 14" fairy - when you plug it in the wings move with colours.
