Gogroopie.com, Has Anybody Ever Bought From Them...

Had an e-mail from them today, and had a look.

Their prices are ridiculously cheap, and cant understand how they can advertise such items without there being a twist somewhere?

It's a legitimate UK firm, which has been around for 10 years.

However the TrustPilot reviews are very mixed

The first not 2 bad, but the 2nd, terrible.
You would think, if they were that bad, they would have been taken to court by the Trading Standards, or Small Court Claims?

So the situation is similar to buying from Amazon Marketplace, in that the website you're viewing is only operating as an advertising board for other companies, rather than selling anything itself. However Amazon is determined to maintain a high reputation for everything it does (apart, possibly, from paying its taxes!) and is quick to help people out when things go wrong with Amazon Marketplace purchases. The reviews for Gogroopie suggest that they don't provide the same level of support when things go wrong.

^^^ Crossed posts but, as it happens, what I've typed largely answers your question anyway.

i.e. when you buy something which is advertised on the Gogroopie webite, your contract is with the firm actually offering the deal, and not with Gogroopie itself.
