Spoilers for anyone not watching live and it is likely that the dance off result will be posted when it is available online, well before the dance off tomorrow. Who else is watching and who do you think will be the celebrity to leave next?
Can't believe it's the Quarter Final already and only two more shows left after tonight! If there are six couples left and one goes tonight and next week, does that mean there will be four in the final? Usually three couples aren't there, or do two go in the semi finals, or am I adding things up wrong?
I think that is a shame. I thoroughly enjoyed his dancing and he improved so well. I guess Alex is not that popular to have been in the DO.Just 2 more weeks to go then ...
Aww, that is sad that he has gone. Such a shame. Not a great week for him but he was doing so well, especially having no prior dance experience.
Not good news for Alexandra, especially so close to the final and with her being joint top of the leaderboard tonight! At least last week she was much further down so not as much of a shock if still surprising.
It’s long been a popularity contest. If it was really judged on talent, Mollie would have gone weeks ago. The BBC will pull out all the stops to get pretty blonde Mollie into the final even though she definitely is not good enough to make it. Yesterday she was put her n a skirt that covered up her poor leg work. Gemma will be voted offf next weekend, but t should be Mollie. The final result will be 1. Debbie. 2. Alexandra. 3. Joe
Going back to the number of couples in the final, seems to me the BBC producers are allowing for the possibility that a celebrity will pull out early, as has happened in the past. Wouldn't be much of a final from the entertainment point of view with one couple or even just two couples!
Yes , every other competition has just two teams in the final, as you say. I wouldn't use the term 'final' in this context, or 'semi-final' which implies four teams, or 'quarter-final' which implies eight teams, come to that. However, everybody else is using the term 'final'; and I still can't see the chiefs at the BBC putting on an entertainment show such as this with just two teams. Limits what the presenters can say!
