I sit on a seat and press a button and I'm gently lowered into the bath. When I've washed myself I press another button and it lifts me up. It's battery operated and is marvellous. I don't like a shower. It was fitted easily and I feel really safe with it. I'm 77 now so I was starting to have difficulty pulling myself up out of the bath. Cost was about £1300 but it's been worth every penny.
